Sertion, a Nordic expert group within advanced pipework and plumbing backed by Consolid Equity, has further expanded its Danish platform through the acquisition of Skanda.
Skanda, founded in 1991 and headquartered at Dania by Mariager Fjord, is a specialised welding and engineering company serving the Danish and international industrial sectors. With more than 30 years of experience, the Company has built a strong reputation as a trusted partner for storage facilities, process plants, and industrial piping installations across a broad range of industries. Skanda delivers a comprehensive suite of services including project engineering, design, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and ongoing service and maintenance. These are delivered through the Company's in-house project and design department and its own production facilities for both stainless and carbon steel, supported by additional locations in Jutland and Zealand. The Company serves a broad and diversified client base across Denmark and internationally, including tank terminals, refineries, and industrial process operators, and holds key certifications such as EN 1090 and ISO 3834.
The acquisition represents a compelling strategic fit for Sertion, reinforcing its position as a leading Nordic group within advanced pipework, technical infrastructure, industrial installations, and complementing its existing capabilities within the energy sector. The addition of Skanda's specialist expertise in advanced process piping and turnkey industrial contracts further strengthens Sertion's ability to offer end-to-end services across the technical infrastructure value chain in the Nordic region.
