A Year Marked by Organisational Changes: New Management Structure and Corporate Form
In the 2024/25 financial year, we implemented several significant organisational changes aimed at ensuring a more cohesive management structure.
The year included the appointment of a new Board with five new members and a new Chair, the designation of Frank Lau as CEO, and the establishment of a central Management Team overseeing our three Business Lines: Audit & Assurance, Tax and Advisory.
“With the new management structure, all BDO’s business areas now have a clear voice at the top leadership level. This has strengthened our decision‑making power and increased our resilience in an industry characterised by change and rising complexity. The new management team will play a crucial operational role in maintaining our momentum and supporting our continued ambitious growth journey,” says Frank Lau.
Along with the leadership changes, we have also changed our corporate structure at the end of the financial year. Operational activities have been transferred from the previous limited company to the new partnership company, BDO Statsautoriseret Revisionspartnerselskab.
“The restructuring into a partnership company is an active choice that strengthens BDO’s business model and creates a closer link between ownership, responsibility and decision‑making. It ensures that we can continue to maintain our long‑term national commitment and ownership,” the CEO says.
For BDO’s more than 1,800 employees and 40,000 clients, there will be no changes to the daily collaboration.
