In Tax Watch 5.2009 of March 11, 2009 we have commented on the tax reform compromise between the Government and its support party.
On March 20, 2009 the Tax Minister presented numerous draft bills for exposure to a number of interest organizations. The draft bills are as could be expected much in line with the tax reform compromise. The time limit for commenting on the draft bills was fixed at March 26, 2009.
After the exposure phase, the Tax Minister will evaluate the put forward comments and the final bills are then expected to be proposed to the Parliament at the end of April and passed at the end of May.
At this stage we will not comment further on the draft bills but we will keep our readers updated on major changes that will take place from now and until the bills are finally passed.
When the tax reform is finally passed we will provide a total review of the reform.
